Its finally available for pre-order, Microsoft’s new Xbox One “Elite” model, which comes with a 1 TB SSHD will be sold exclusively through GameStop and Microsoft Stores starting November 3, after which it will be available at other retailers. For instance, Amazon’s product page shows a December 1 release.
The $500 Xbox One Elite model also comes with the cool-sounding Elite controller. Thanks to its SSHD, the console will even boot up 20 percent faster than the existing system. Overall, Microsoft describes the new console package as “the ultimate gaming experience.”
Microsoft has also announced a new “Lunar White” version of the standard Xbox One controller. It sports all the new refinements, a slick-looking color scheme, and “improved grip texture.” In the US, this controller will be sold only at GameStop, where it will cost $65 starting in late September.
