– Online retailer Gamestop has already reduced the price of the next-generation console Playstation 4, which has an RRP of £349.99, by just over £20 today.
The website is selling the basic edition of the PS4, which includes the console and controller without any games, for £329.77.
Gamestop are also offering the bundled PS4 and Killzone: Shadow Fall edition, which usually costs £399.99, for the reduced price of £369.97.
Both the PS4 console on its own and the package with the latest Killzone title is currently out of stock on the Gamestop website.The price reduction comes just three months after the PS4 was first released in the UK and is £100 cheaper than the RRP for the rival Microsoft Xbox One.
The reduced price for the Xbox One is still listed on the Zaavi website.Sony recently said across the globe the PS4 is “generally sold out at all retailers” months after it was first released.The console has experienced extremely high demand since it launched.Last month Sony said the PS4 sold 4.2 million units worldwide in 2013.
