Microsoft is trying to woo students in the US to buy its latest Surface tablet, the Surface Pro 4, by offering it along with the Xbox One console and discounting the final price by $300. This means that if students buy the Surface Pro 4 along with the Xbox One from the company’s retail stores, they would get the Xbox One free of cost. The offer is valid till August 14.

The promotional offer comes just days after the company announced that it will stop production of Surface 3 end of this year. Microsoft’s decision to stop the production of Surface 3 tablets is expected to help push sales of Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book in the market. Microsoft launched Surface 3 in March 2015.
