A few months ago, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that comedic sandbox-style action-adventure game ‘Lego City: Undercover’ would be coming to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC (via Steam), and PS4 in Spring 2017.
The company has gone ahead and released a new trailer for the game, featuring heroic police officer Chase McCain, who goes “undercover and dons multiple disguises to hunt down the notorious – and recently escaped – criminal, Rex Fury, to put an end to his city-wide crime wave,”
The game features more than 20 unique districts to investigate, filled with car thieves to bust, vehicles to navigate, mischievous aliens to capture, hilarious movie references, lost pigs, and, of course, hundreds of collectibles to discover.
The game, which was originally released for the Wii U back in 2013, takes place in an open world, an is one of Lego’s only titles to feature an original, though extensive, story. This version of the game was advertised as both a ‘re-release’ and a ‘remaster’ of the original, without much more information.
