Kratos and Godzilla bring chaos and ruin onto PlayStation this week, and the first PGA game from EA launches without Tiger Woods on the cover.
PlayStation again continues to put out the lion’s share of titles this week, with God of War III Remastered for the PlayStation 4 being the highlight of the week. The final entry into the original trilogy of wanton destruction (and controversial sex mini-games) featuring Kratos, the vengeful god of war, makes its debut on the PlayStation 4 with a native 1080p and 60fps presentation. All the DLC will be included, including a photo mode for players to capture their gory victory. Kratos will mete out his vengeance upon the titans and gods of Greece for PlayStation 4 owners on July 14.
Sports gamers will also be happy to receive EA Sports’ PGA Tour for the year with new cover athlete Rory McIlroy, who is taking the place of the morally-compromised and performance-struggling Tiger Woods. EA Sports Rory Mcilroy PGA Tour will release exclusively on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Rounding out the list for the week is Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter for the PlayStation 4, as well as cross-platform indie darling The Fall. Xbox One owners will receive No Time to Explain this week, as well. Xbox 360 owners will need to content themselves with the Games With Gold offerings, as nothing is slated to release on the Xbox 360 this week. The Wii U, PS Vita, and Nintendo 3DS are also without new releases this week.
