Destroy All Humans is now formally available for download on the PS4. The popular PS2 title successfully makes its migration two generations over to the PS4 and brings with it at least something anew.
For starters, you will be getting a better resolution. Fans of the game won’t really need another reason to get it, but there is also the addition of trophies. This should make it much more enjoyable to complete. In total, it is set to have 37 trophies, and 1 Gold trophy to get full completion.
For those who don’t know, Destroy All Humans laces you up in the shoes of an alien named Cryptosporidium 137, who invades earth and feeds on people’s DNA. Dubbed as an action adventure title, the game makes use of multiple over-the-top weapons to give players a joyful experience. Being an alien, you also have certain supernatural abilities, such as Telekinesis, that could be used to swing around the object. For traveling purposes, you will be given a jet launcher.
The game is currently available in both the North American and European regions. It is priced at a reasonable $19.99, so make sure to grab a copy as soon as you can, as you might not have time to play it in the coming days. You will also need around 2.3 GB of hard disk space free for the game, which shouldn’t be a big deal.
Another popular PS2 game also looking to make its way to the PS4 is Red Faction 2. The title was recently rated by PEGI on the PS4, which is a surefire way of suggesting its arrival on the console. It would be a welcome addition to the PS4 library, as the Red Faction series has been absent from this console generation after a solid showing on PS3 and Xbox 360.
PS2 games are increasingly joining the ranks of PS4 titles, as a few weeks ago, Red Dead Revolver also made the cut. It shows that the trend is still to put out older games on new platforms, either in a remastered form or even the original game itself
