Battlefield Hardline’s open beta passed 5 million players without many teething problems.

Steve Papoutsis, the general manager of Visceral Games, touted the 5 million figure on Twitter yesterday afternoon.

Battlefield Hardline’s beta closes today. The game is due for a full release on March 17 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC.
